CJ believes in the power of play to teach, inspire, and bring communities together. In addition to being a father, husband, and coach, he is the Founder of the CJ Brown Foundation. Created in 2020 with only 20 players and a passion for giving back as a role model in Chicago's under-resourced communities, the Foundation focuses on teaching essential life skills and providing employment opportunities via after-school soccer programs and coaching partnerships. Growing to over 150 participants in 2024, CJ is just getting started as his after-school programs have expanded to a neighborhood recreational soccer league and a coaching education program.
